Get ready for the ultimate student-led event of the year! The HIKMA Summit of International Relations (HSIR) is back.

As the first Italian festival of its kind, HSIR is a four-day extravaganza of conferences, workshops, and career days that will engage you in an open dialogue on various topics related to international relations. This year, our focus in on YOU, the younger generation, and your role in shaping our society. 

​

Our high-level guests will share their knowledge and expertise, while our practical workshops will equip you with the tools you need to make a difference.

​

This initiative is realized with the contribution of the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna.

THE THREE PILLARS

Youth and POLITICS

This pillar aims at understanding what kind of agency the young generations are currently using to shape the world of politics, either from within or as outsiders, and, at the same time, how is politics involving the youth.

Youth and ECONOMICS

This pillar aims at exploring how the global crises are impacting and will continue to impact youth's opportunities when it comes to the labour market, as well as at looking at the positive change of new economic movements.

Youth and TECHNOLOGY

This pillar aims to explore how technology and digitalization have changed the way the younger generations perceive and understand our societies and how rapid technological progress has impacted on the role young people can play in international relations.
